i think i shouldnt've done the staff multicolored :l the whole thing is just so...pink that the blue and green look terribly out of place. i also realize that brown lineart would probably look better too >_<

i'll....probably color this again actually...hahaha...for another contest xD GOWD I WISH I COULD COLOR FASTER. AND BETTER ._.

so i was trying to be all professional and use purple to do more shadow on everything because my friend ~peachflower who's actually going into art told me that using like dark brown on brown to make shadow doesnt give enough depth and well now the hair doesnt look brown anymore rather its multicolored :l (tried to fix it by adding some red/pink on the purple but...now its more multicolored...). still i want to tell everyone DO NOT JUST USE A DARKER SHADE OF THE SAME COLOR TO DO SHADOWS. IT IS LAME. so when you color in skin you use peach but you can shade with magenta instead of 'dark peach' otherwise it will be flat. very flat

dudes so i sketched this on paper and it was on my binder and one of my friends saw it and said the pose looked like another one of my drawings (hahaha i'm surprised she remembered it) and i realized...that i reuse poses. a lot. which is terrible because that means i'm unoriginal and lame ;_; they're almost exactly the same *shoots self

asako is your average 14 year old girl whose family runs a pastry cafe so she would occasionally work as a waitress afterschool and on the weekends (she doesnt get paid but free pastries!). one day asako found a snow-white kitty that was hurt so she brought it home and took care of it. it turns out that the kitty was a spirit who was looking for someone whose heart was kind and pure enough to take on evil. so the kitty-spirit gave her the power of light to fight the agents of the darkness (one of whom she discovers is her SECRET CRUSH D8).

now she has to balance school, social life, family-business, AND saving the world :C

pink laser beams shoot out from her uber cool staff, penetrating the pupils of her enemies, causing blindness and severe brain damage. it is 100% effective. even sunglasses will not save you from the LIGHT B)
